Lon Chaney as The Phantom of the Opera

It may be hard to believe that people at that time actually fainted seeing the disfigured face of the phantom on screen. Compared to today’s standards, this film may not seem horror. It can be enjoyable if it is viewed as a classic.

Starring :

Lon Chaney as Erik, The Phantom
Mary Philbin as Christine
Norman Kerry as Raoul
