Movie Crazy is a 1932 Harold Lloyd “talkie” comedy, where Harold is clumsy young man very much eager to get into movies. He is a very accident prone guy with virtually no acting skills. After a funny mix-up with his application photograph, he leaves his Kansas home and heads for Hollywood. There, he causes all sorts of problems by doing everything wrongly.

In his father’s absence, Harold is mistakenly taken for the sheriff and made to sign a permit for a traveling medicine show by ‘Flash’ Farrell. This brings the show to the town and along with it comes the charming Mary, the heiress of the show. Harold falls in love with her.
